ABOUT US

Growing up in Missouri, I was your typical small town kid.  I spent many evenings outside enjoying nature with my best friend.  We always had dogs in the household and I don't have a single memory without some type of animal in it.  I have been fascinated with animals since I was a wee girl.  One of my first pets was a Reeve's Turtle named Tina.  As I got older, I started working in veterinary clinics and animal shelters.  It was here where my love for the breed began.

Fast forward 15 years, and I am a medic in the US Army returning from my first deployment in Afghanistan.  I had place a deposit on a Doberman puppy with some of my deployment money.  Once I was stateside, I paid the remaining balance and headed out on the road to pick her up.

It was love at first sight!  I hardly knew what I was getting myself into at the time, looking back.  But here I am, almost 8 years later and I have dove into the world of dog showing, working, and breeding Dobermans.

I have been all over the United States with me serving in the U.S. Army.  I currently reside in La Vernia, Texas.  While I am a veteran and no longer in the service, my fellow serviceman and veterans are still very important to me.  I offer discounts to my fellow veterans, military, police, firefighters, and ambulance workers.

My main focus here at Lone Star Pride Dobermans is the health of my dogs.  The Doberman breed is plagued with many inherited diseases.  It is my job as a breeder to make sure that the puppies I produce not only measure up to the Doberman standard but also have the best chance at a long life.
